After demonstrating leadership and creative expertise, I was promoted to a team lead at Madwire, where I oversaw a team of 8 designers. In this role, I focused on fostering collaboration, mentoring talent, and ensuring high-quality design outputs. My leadership helped streamline processes and enhance team performance, driving impactful results for client projects.
As I advanced to the role of Design Director, I took on the responsibility of leading a team of over 30 designers. I prioritized building a fun, energetic, and collaborative environment where creativity and innovation could thrive. Under my leadership, the team flourished, consistently delivering high-quality work while enjoying a culture of camaraderie and growth.
Promoted to Vice President of Creative, I took on the exhilarating challenge of overseeing a dynamic team of over 65 members. In this role, I spearheaded the strategic vision for the department, collaborating closely with other executives to align creative goals with business objectives. My focus on optimizing department performance drove innovation and efficiency, setting new standards for creative excellence and team success.
As a program advisor for Arapahoe Community College, Front Range Community College, and Colorado State University, I played a pivotal role in supporting aspiring graphic designers by recommending top-notch programs and providing valuable portfolio reviews. I dedicated time to answering student questions, offering guidance and insights to help them navigate their educational paths. My involvement aimed to inspire and equip the next generation of creative professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
Embracing a new career path, I joined the high-end eCommerce brand Venus et Fleur, where I supported all creative efforts with enthusiasm and innovation. My role allowed me to contribute to the brand’s luxurious aesthetic and dynamic marketing campaigns, enhancing its reputation in the industry. Joining the team to build Clearly Acquired, I took on the crucial role of owning all platform design, website design, and brand design for the Business Acquisition Marketplace. Together, we brought our vision to life, delivering an innovative tool that simplifies business transactions and enhances the user experience for brokers, buyers, sellers, and banks.
